Oh Dear!

Well so much for going out to the movies! No.2 fell off the jungle gym at lunchtime and fractured her arm just above her wrist. Luckily I had just got home when I got the phone call. Poor little thing was quite traumatised.

She's doing much better now so no worries. Just have to take it easy this week. Maybe just light work - hee hee!!

Well I did go to the fair so all is not lost. Forgot to buy you girls a gift which is so naughty of me but you know what it's like with a two year old who just wants to go and eat her morning tea! Not to worry, I have the craft market on in the morning and I'm quite sure there will be something lovely there.

Right, off to pamper my little girl!

OUCH! Poor girl! Yes, it must be traumatising for a little one. I cannot imagine, really. I hope she gets well real soon.

BTW, I am happy to say that you have been one of the lucky, random 3 winners!
If you could e-mail your address, that would be great!!! Hehehehe... Can't wait to send you a "random surprise" package!

Hear from you soon,
Juanita

Thanks ladies! Plaster will be off in four weeks so not too bad. She'll have it off for the holidays so that's the main thing. And we get to go to the movies tomorrow instead. Woo hoo!!

Awww, give her a great big hug from me. I hope the cast doesn't make her too uncomfortable. Is she going to collect autographs from all her friends on the cast?

Mom's have to have the most flexible schedules in the world...the needs of our little ones always comes first! Fortunately my little ones are now in their 20s!

Oh, poor little girl. Give her a hug from me too. I did that a few years ago and it wasn't funny. Luckily kids are more resilient than us poor old girls :-)

Enjoy the movies

Oh, poor girl, and poor you! It's a bit traumatic having a child with a fracture, I found... Our biggest prob was keeping the plaster cast dry. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, LET HER GET IT WET! The stink is terrible to live with and you do wonder what can be happening underneath, too... But on a happy note, he did emerge intact in the end...

Oh Claire that was funny! Unfortunately we don't have any grass at our place so we'll have to find something else for her to do. Guess not washing the car either aye Floss? She enjoyed reading all your sympathetic comments this morning, thank you all. She's doing very well and quite chippa

So sorry about the broken arm. Been there, done that. The child usually recovers much more quickly than the mama.

Poor kid! We've had two broken arms here...same kid, same arm, several years apart. Four weeks will fly by! Take advantage of light duty:)
