Jolly Good Fun

Look what we've got!

A really big tin of them.  I'm hoping there will be enough left for our nearly 5 year olds party soon.  It's not looking good!  Hopefully hubby can convince the nice paint shop man that we need another.  I'm quite sure we'll be buying many more tins of paint as we've only just begun that part of the renovation.

Look at how wonderful they look between two different layers of jelly.

And some more pretty lollies from another scrummy shop.  What a sweet holiday we are having.

We spent a very lovely day out in the country on Monday.  We have friends who live near some cows so we took a visit out there for some good country air.  The girls all had a wonderful time as did my friend and I.

The passing views were just lovely.  It was a bit of a challenge for No.2 to take photos whilst her mother drove like a crazy woman along the country road.

And yesterday we spent a few hours entertaining the penguins and fish.

Don't you just love this bus?!!

I'm sure this fish was trying to talk to us.  No.2 caught this fabulous snap.  I wonder what he was thinking?

And the ride through the penguins was the best part.  We had four rides it was so fun.

Look at this beauty.  Aren't some fish made so beautifully?

But the seahorses are one of my favourites.  They are so graceful and elegant.

And I can't for the life of me remember what these neat ones are called.  Tiger somethings maybe?

Yes we are indeed having a whale of a time these holidays.  We are usually busy bees the second week of the hols.  Still have to go to the movie Nanny McPhee, have haircuts, visit the Botanic Gardens, have a friend or two over, and the big girls are going to a music show.

But we now have school shoes and socks, even if the visit was completely hideous.  No.4 decided she had something sore and insisted on pulling her knickers down all the time!!  Honestly it was like a circus.  Our No.3 is starting school in a few weeks, boo hoo.  She has a few afternoon sessions this term so needed to have the whole uniform sorted.  And sorted it is.

I received a phone call from my mother before, she's most anxious to hear what is so special about today.  She's probably hoping she's not forgotten anything really special.  If I hold out I might get a gift!  No really, I shouldn't tease.  Well here goes...

Today is the first birthday of my little blog.
Hip hip horray to me!!

And horray to all of you too for supporting me with all your very kind and sweet comments over the past year.  I'm so pleased to have made so many lovely friends over this time and received so many lovely
handmade gifts too.  Would you like to see my very first post?  Click here to have a look.

I want to do something special to celebrate it, but haven't thought of anything just right yet? I was thinking of a swap but there are so many out there at the moment.  I've done a giveaway recently so that sounds a bit dull.  I'll have to put on my thinking cap.  It is about time I organised a swap since I've never done one.  I'll see if the girls and I can come up with something special for you.

Bye for now, love Sarah xx
